How to uninstall multiple apps in one click on Android
Over time, our Android smartphones get filled with apps we no longer use. These unnecessary apps consume memory, slow down the phone, and take up valuable storage space. Uninstalling multiple apps one by one can be time-consuming and frustrating. Fortunately, there are simple methods to remove them all in just one click or almost.
First, open the Play Store
On your Android phone, start by locating the Google Play Store icon. It is usually found on your home screen or in the app drawer. Then tap it to open. The Play Store is the official Android app marketplace and also allows you to manage everything you’ve already installed. This step gives you access to all your apps in one secure place.
Next, access your user profile
Once the Play Store is open, look at the top-right corner of the screen. You’ll see a small circular icon, usually your profile picture or an initial. Tap on it. This will open your Google account menu linked to the Play Store. From here, you can manage your account settings, subscriptions, and most importantly, your apps.
Select “Manage apps & device”
In the dropdown menu that appears, choose the “Manage apps & device” option. This section provides an overview of what’s installed on your phone. You’ll see the total number of apps, storage used, and available updates. This is also where you can access advanced app management. This feature is often overlooked but very powerful.

Tap the line showing the number of apps and storage used
On the page that opens, you’ll see a line such as “57 GB used of 121 GB.” This line is interactive. Tap it to display the detailed list of all your apps. This list allows you to sort apps by name, size, or last used. It’s a great way to quickly identify the largest apps or those you haven’t opened in a long time.

Select the apps to uninstall
You now have access to the full list of your installed apps. Check the apps you no longer want to keep. Each app has a small checkbox on the right that you can select. Take your time to review the list and make a smart selection: remove apps you never use, but keep essential ones. This step is important to avoid accidentally deleting something useful.

Tap the trash icon
Once your selection is complete, look at the top-right corner of the screen: a trash icon will appear. Tap it to start uninstalling multiple apps. Android will warn you if you try to remove a system app or something that could cause issues. This feature saves time by avoiding repeating the same steps for each app.
Finally, confirm app removal
A confirmation message will appear asking if you’re sure you want to uninstall the selected apps. This step helps prevent accidental deletion. If you’re certain, tap “Uninstall.” Android will then remove all the selected apps within seconds. A progress bar may appear depending on how many apps you selected.

Result: a lighter and faster phone
Once the process is complete, you’ll notice that storage space has been freed up. Your phone will be smoother, more responsive, and ready for new useful apps. It’s recommended to repeat this cleanup regularly—once a month, for example to maintain good performance. This simple habit can also help extend your device’s lifespan.
With these simple but detailed steps, you now have everything you need to uninstall multiple apps in one go, without using third-party tools or complex settings. By using only the Play Store, you save time, space, and effort. Try this method today and give your Android smartphone a fresh start!
