Bubblegum Hero is a small skill game from the Polish studio Crimson Pine Games. The goal is simple: blow a bubblegum bubble to exactly the right size. Too small and it flops; too big and it bursts all over your character’s face.
What Bubblegum Hero is for
Every perfect bubble raises a score multiplier, and the difficulty climbs along with it. The game has several worlds, a cast of characters to unlock and gums with different traits that affect points, speed or how much room for error you get. An optional mode lets you inflate the bubble by really blowing into the device’s microphone. The listing still mentions an Apple Watch mini-game, but the watch no longer appears among the compatible devices.
Who is it for?
It suits anyone after a one-handed game for sessions of a few minutes, and it’s fine for kids too (rated 4+). Score chasers get online leaderboards. If you expect regular new content you’ll be disappointed, since the last update came out in October 2020.
