iMyFone AnyTo is a tool from the Chinese developer iMyFone (Shenzhen iMyfone Technology) that changes the GPS location a smartphone reports. It comes as a Windows and Mac program that controls the phone from the computer, and as a standalone Android app.
What AnyTo is for
Once the phone is connected, you pick a spot on the map and the phone behaves as if it were there. Teleport mode moves the location in one click, the two-spot and multi-spot modes simulate a trip at walking, cycling or driving speed, and a joystick lets you move around freely. Routes can be saved as GPX files. On iPhone, the developer’s mobile app, iGo, is installed through the desktop program.
Who is it for?
AnyTo is useful for developers testing location-based apps, or for people who would rather not share their real location with an app. The developer mainly markets it for augmented reality games such as Pokémon GO, even though the rules of those games forbid it.

The Windows and Mac program is available from the iMyFone website, and the Android app from the Google Play Store. The free version is limited, and the full feature set requires a paid licence. Avoid “cracked” copies posted elsewhere, as they can carry malware.
