Does Nubia Pad 3D have a better display than the Galaxy Tab S8?

The Nubia Pad 3D features a 12.4-inch diagonal IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels. The graphic elements are organized on 243ppp for appreciable images to the naked eye. The low density will certainly not allow enjoying an exceptional image quality but a modest visibility. The fluidity of the image is ensured by a refresh rate at 120Hz. Moreover, the device supports the display of 3D elements and a conversion from 2D to 3D is possible.

The screen of the Galaxy Tab S8 is a TFT LCD with a refresh rate of 120Hz. This type of screen is known to be less bright and more energy consuming than IPS LCD according to Orient Display. Its size is 11 inches offering a resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels with a density of 274ppp. As on several Galaxy products, the tablet has a protection against shocks. It is the famous Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

Does the Galaxy Tab S8 processor compete with the Nubia Pad 3D?

All the tasks of the Nubia Pad 3D are performed by its chipset which is the Snapdragon 888 5G. The CPU has 8 cores organized as follows: 1×2.84 GHz Cortex-X1 & 3×2.42 GHz Cortex-A78 & 4×1.80 GHz Cortex-A55. The native system is Android 12L; interestingly, many of the latest applications are supported. The graphics needs of the device are taken care of by the Adreno 660 capable of running the demanding applications. The user data are stored on the device either on an SD card or on the available internal storage. The tablet has been designed in 2 models; 128GB/8GB RAM and 256GB/8GB RAM.

For its part, the Galaxy Tab S8 features the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, which is an advanced version of the processor of its opponent of the day. It does not limit itself to that but also imports Android 12 as an OS with the possibility of upgrading to Android 13. The system is supported by One Ui 5, which provides stability of operations and additional functionality. The CPU is also Octa Core but with slightly more powerful cores, with higher processing frequencies. Obviously, you guessed it; the graphics card of the processor is also more powerful. We are talking about the Adreno 730, which has proven itself in the most powerful gamer phones. The tablet also has a slot for a maximum 128GB SD card. All storage models use UFS technology and it is: 128GB/8GB RAM 256GB/8GB RAM, 256GB/12GB RAM.

Are the selfies of the Nubia Pad 3D more appreciable than those of the Galaxy Tab S8?

The camera module of the Nubia Pad 3D is composed of dual optical sensors, each with 16MP capacity. A range of features accompanies the sensors, including panorama, stereoscope and LED flash. The cameras support Full HD in 30fps for video capture. The front of the tablet has 2 shooters of 8MP each capable of taking clear selfies. 

Samsung for the Galaxy Tab S8 has placed 2 rear cameras of 13MP and 6MP. The supported features are almost the same as the Nubia Pad 3D. With one detail, the video captures can be in 4k. A selfie camera is visible on the front and it is of ultra wide angle type with 12MP. The quality of the captures is assured with HDR and support for 4k and Full HD videos.

The award for best battery life goes to the Nubia Pad 3D?

When choosing a tablet, you opt for great autonomy and a solid battery. This is what we offer each of the rivals of the day with a difference of 1000mAh. If you are looking for a tablet with an average budget of 1000€, you have certainly found what you need. The Nubia Pad 3D is available in a grey color, more precisely dark chrome, at a price of around 1000€. Right next to it, the Galaxy Tab S8 offers silver, pink-gold and graphite colors in these different models at a price of around 750€. 

As we have just seen, Samsung is a market leader when it comes to smartphones. As far as tablets are concerned, it has to bow from time to time to other more fastidious ones. This time it is the Nubia Pad 3D that deserves the credit for being the best. This time it’s the Nubia Pad 3D that deserves the credit for being the best, both in terms of display, camera and battery. For the performance, the Galaxy Tab S8 is the most powerful.
