Trivia Crack is a quiz game made by the Argentine studio Etermax, known in Spanish-speaking countries as Preguntados. You answer multiple-choice questions drawn from a handful of broad topics such as history, geography, science, sport, art and entertainment.

What Trivia Crack is for

A spinning wheel picks the topic of each question. Matches are turn-based and played against friends or random opponents, so you can answer whenever you have a spare minute. There are other game modes too, plus an AI-assisted tool for putting together your own quizzes. On iPhone, a companion app lets you play from an Apple Watch.

Who is it for?

Trivia Crack is aimed at people who enjoy general knowledge and like testing themselves against family and friends. Because matches are asynchronous, it works well for groups who live far apart. Players who are bothered by ads or constant nudges to buy things may tire of it quickly.

The game is free on the Google Play Store and the App Store, which are the only official sources. It’s funded by ads and by selling coins and credits as in-app purchases. You need an internet connection to play against other people. “Unlimited” or “ad-free” versions posted on third-party sites are not official.
