There is barely anything left to announce. On 18 August 2026, the Galaxy S26 FE was hit by an unusually large leak: more than two dozen internal marketing slides, obtained and published by Android Headlines and relayed by Android Authority, detail almost the entire spec sheet of Samsung’s next premium mid-ranger. Display, chipset, battery, cameras, official colour names, everything is there, with one notable exception: the price.

Here is what the documents reveal, and what actually matters before you reach for your wallet.

Galaxy S26 FE: the full spec sheet revealed

Start with the essentials. The Galaxy S26 FE keeps a 6.7-inch Full HD+ display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. No revolution there, but a solid base for browsing and gaming.

On endurance, the phone carries a 4,900 mAh battery supporting 45 W fast charging, branded Super Fast Charging 2.0. The chassis measures 7.4 mm thick, practically unchanged from the Galaxy S25 FE.

The camera system uses three rear sensors:

  • a 50 MP main sensor;
  • a 12 MP ultrawide;
  • an 8 MP telephoto.

A 12 MP module handles selfies and video calls at the front. This configuration confirms information Android Authority published back in July.

For the build, Samsung uses an aluminium alloy frame and Gorilla Glass Victus+ screen protection, with IP68 certification against dust and water.

Exynos 2500 on 3 nm: the point that splits opinion

The Galaxy S26 FE is said to run the Exynos 2500, Samsung’s in-house 3-nanometre chip. That choice is exactly what makes observers cautious.

A quick reminder of what this means: a SoC, or system on chip, bundles the processor, the graphics unit and the AI engine of a smartphone. Samsung has historically alternated between its own Exynos parts and Qualcomm Snapdragon silicon depending on model and market. Exynos chips long carried a reputation for weaker power efficiency, although the gap has narrowed considerably in recent generations.

In practice, do not expect absolute flagship performance. For everyday use, social media, photography, streaming and casual gaming, this chip is more than enough. Demanding gamers should look at the standard Galaxy S26 line instead.

Blueberry, Pistachio, Graphite: the official colours confirmed

The leak also delivers the commercial names of the three launch colours: Blueberry, Pistachio and Graphite. The shades themselves were already known, but this is the first time their official naming has surfaced. Samsung is sticking with soft, desaturated tones, in line with previous generations.

One UI 9, Android 17 and seven years of updates

Software is arguably this phone’s strongest argument. The Galaxy S26 FE would ship with One UI 9, Samsung’s skin based on Android 17, with a promise of seven major Android upgrades.

That figure deserves a pause. Seven Android generations means a handset bought in 2026 stays current into the next decade. On a segment where software life expectancy often capped at two or three years, that commitment changes the maths, especially for resale value and security.

Two software features are also mentioned: Horizontal Lock, which locks the interface orientation, and My FanCam, a capture mode Samsung introduced more recently and aimed at concerts and sporting events.

Price, the great unknown of this leak

It is the one element the leaked documents do not contain. Android Authority nevertheless notes that the wider market trend, including Samsung’s own Galaxy Z Fold 8, points to an increase. Separately, 9to5Google suggested in early August a positioning around 800 euros for the 128 GB version, roughly 50 euros above the Galaxy S25 FE at launch. That figure is unconfirmed: treat it as an estimate to verify on announcement day.

Should you wait for the Galaxy S26 FE?

It depends on your situation. If you already own a Galaxy S25 FE, the upgrade looks too modest to justify a switch: same footprint, same screen size, same battery. Coming from an older device, however, the combination of a 120 Hz display, IP68, 45 W charging and above all seven years of updates makes a coherent package.

And if your budget is tight, the Galaxy S25 FE, now widely available, is precisely the kind of handset whose price drops as its successor approaches. That is often the best moment to buy it.

The bottom line

Between the unofficial hands-on video that appeared days earlier and this twenty-six-slide dossier, the Galaxy S26 FE has no secrets left before it is even shown. Samsung should make it official within weeks. The only real question remaining: will the price follow the rest of the market?
