One amusing detail is worth noting. The promotional image released with the invitation was, by Samsung’s own admission, partly generated by artificial intelligence. It hints at the new camera module and a light-green colour, both consistent with recent leaks.
The event may not stop at the phone either. The Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra tablet leaked on 19 August, and new Galaxy Buds are also circulating in rumours. Neither is confirmed.

On 18 August, promotional documents attributed to the Galaxy S26 FE were published by Android Headlines. They leave almost nothing in the dark.

On the software side, the leak cites several features already familiar from the Galaxy ecosystem: Audio Eraser, which isolates and reduces unwanted noise in a video, My FanCam, and Horizontal Lock for enhanced video stabilisation.
The strongest point on this sheet remains the software support. Seven years of major Android upgrades on a mid-to-upper range device is a longevity argument few competitors can match at this price level.
The real suspense now rests on the price
It is the one thing the leak did not deliver, and paradoxically the most important. The Galaxy S26 FE’s specifications are very close to last year’s Galaxy S25 FE: same screen size, same battery capacity, same camera philosophy. The generational change comes down largely to design and software.
Under those conditions, only the price can make the difference. Several leaks point to an increase over the S25 FE, which would be no surprise in the current context: soaring memory prices are weighing on production costs across the industry, and smartphone makers began passing them on in the third quarter.
