But what if you want to save your draft permanently? The good news is that it’s easy to save your TikTok drafts to your gallery.
How to save a TikTok draft to your gallery
Whether you have an iPhone or an Android device, the process of recording a TikTok draft to your phone’s gallery is similar. But before you start, make sure you’ve recorded a draft video.
Start the TikTok app and create a video clip, then add the stickers and filters you want. Press Next, followed by Drafts. You can now save a video saved in drafts to film. Here are the steps to follow:
- Tap the Profile button at the bottom of the TikTok app, then tap the Drafts folder.
- Tap the video you want to save to your film in the Drafts folder.
- Tap Next at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap Who can see this video on the options page of your draft video, then tap Me only.
- Scroll down and select More Choices.
- Swipe right to enable the Save to Device option. Then, at the top left, tap the X to return to the settings screen.
- Next, tap the Publish button.
You can now access your phone’s gallery footage via the Photos app. You should see the draft video, which you can now share or save as you would any other video on your phone.
