Although the two phones are of the same family, some key differences such as their prices will easily help buyers decide.

Xiaomi will release the Xiaomi 11T, a cheaper version of the Mi 11, its best-selling phone this year. As such, the 11T saves some of the features we like on the Mi 11.

Being £300 more expensive, the Xiaomi Mi 11 is superior to the Xiaomi 11T in almost all areas: performance, cameras, screen, beauty and ruggedness.

Xiaomi Mi 11 vs Xiaomi 11T: Which is better looking and more durable

The Mi 11 is long and thin, so it’s easy to hold in one hand. It has a glass shell and an aluminium frame. With dimensions of 164.3 x 74.6 x 8.1 mm. At 196g, it is quite light for a phone of its size. It is protected by a solid Gorilla Glass Victus. It’s a stylish high-end phone that doesn’t go unnoticed.

Its competitor of the day is less beautiful than it, of course, but also of inferior design. It has dimensions of 164.1 x 76.9 x 8.8mm for a mass of 203g.

Unlike the Mi 11, which has its fingerprint sensor on its screen, the 11T has its fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button. The latter is also more fragile and less protected than the former.

Xiaomi Mi 11 vs Xiaomi 11T: Which one has the better screen

The Xiaomi 11T has a respectable screen for its price. It’s a 6.67-inch HDR10+ AMOLED panel offering a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels.

Again, the Mi 11 does better with a 6.81-inch screen size, 1440 x 3200Px resolution.

Both screens have 120Hz refresh rates, but the Mi 11’s is sharper and more gorgeous due to its higher resolution.

Xiaomi Mi 11 vs Xiaomi 11T: Which one has the better cameras?

The Xiaomi Mi 11 is powered by the powerful Snapdragon 888 supported by 8 or 12GB of RAM; while the 11T offers a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. The latter is of course less powerful than the Snapdragon 888. In addition, it has only 8GB of RAM. Both phones offer up to 256GB of storage.

From their specifications, it is clear that the Xiaomi Mi 11 is more powerful than the Xiaomi 11T. However, the latter is still quite capable of satisfying you with common tasks such as web browsing, video calling, light gaming etc.

Xiaomi Mi 11 vs Xiaomi 11T: Which one has the better cameras?

The Xiaomi Mi 11’s main camera is a 108MP f/1.9 sensor. It is assisted by a 13MP f/2.4 ultra-wide camera and a 5MP f/2.4 macro telephoto lens that allows you to take nice pictures even of small objects located quite far away.

Xiaomi has saved a lot of money on the cameras of the 11T. It also features a 108MP HM2 main sensor. The latter is different from the HMX found on the Mi 11. It uses smaller pixels which results in less sharp photos on the 11T.

The 11T also has an 8MP ultra-wide camera and 5MP telephoto lens.

A 20MP front-facing sensor on the Mi 11 allows for decent selfies while on the 11T it’s a 16MP.

The Mi 11’s superiority is less noticeable in terms of camera specifications, but its photos are clearly better.
