Xiaomi continues to offer powerful and affordable phones with its latest announcement, the Redmi Note 12T Pro. The successor to the Redmi Note 11T Pro, this new phone in the Redmi Note series was unveiled in China. The company has equipped the device with the latest Dimensity 8200 Ultra chipset, which can also be found in the Xiaomi Civi 3.
The Redmi Note 12T Pro’s 6.51-inch display is an IPS LCD with FHD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The rear camera also takes a leap forward with a 64MP main camera, accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle module and a 2MP macro camera. Fans of selfies won’t be disappointed either, as the 16MP front camera takes high-quality photos.
The Redmi Note 12T Pro is equipped with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage, meaning users can store all their favourite files and run multiple apps at the same time without slowing down. The 5,080mAh battery allows for prolonged use, and the 67W fast charge ensures rapid recharging.
As you’d probably expect, the phone comes with Android 13 and MIUI 14 on top, meaning users can access all the latest Android and MIUI features with the Redmi Note 12T Pro.
Xiaomi has confirmed that the Redmi Note 12T Pro will be available in black, white and blue, but pricing and availability details will be announced in the coming days. However, given the affordable offerings of previous Redmi Note series, it’s likely that the Redmi Note 12T Pro will also be reasonably priced and accessible for many users.
