Xiaomi recently confirmed that its new smartphone, the Xiaomi Civi 3, will be released in the Chinese domestic market on May 25. Today, the company released a poster on its Weibo handle, revealing the rear design of the device.
The new poster hints at a two-tone design with a round camera arranged vertically on the top left corner. A 50-megapixel Sony IMX800 main camera is expected, accompanied by a 32-megapixel ultra-wide lens.
The Civi 3 will feature a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with curved edges, FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device’s display will also feature a pill-shaped cutout to house the 32-megapixel selfie camera and 32-megapixel ultra-wide lens.
On the chipset side, the Xiaomi Civi 3 is likely to feature MediaTek’s Dimensity 8200 chipset, coupled with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. Higher variants of the device may have up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, while the battery is expected to be 4,500mAh with 67W fast charging support. The phone will run on the Android 13 operating system with the MIUI 14 overlay.
Although the price of the device is not yet known, the revealed specifications make the Xiaomi Civi 3 a high-end smartphone, which is expected to offer a premium user experience.
