Sony Xperia 5V appears on Geekbench with 16GB RAM
Sony’s compact flagship Xperia 5 series is about to have a new member, and a new Geekbench list brings us some crisp information – some of the specs of the upcoming Sony Xperia 5V phone.
As we all expected, the device is expected to run on the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, and the list also confirms that Sony is preparing a 16GB variant of RAM for its Xperia 5V. With this memory variant, the device will line up with the iQOO 11 Pro and OnePlus 11 among a number of other recently launched phones with 16GB of RAM.

The reference list also learns that the Xperia 5V displays similar performance to other Snapdragon 8 Gen 2-powered handsets, even though it’s still in the early stages of development. We can also see the model number of the phone, which is XQ-DQ72 and will help us identify it in future leaks.
