With the official announcement of the Realme 12 Pro and 12 Pro+, Realme’s digital series takes a major step forward by introducing telephoto lenses, a first for the brand. Both smartphones were unveiled in India with a luxury variant developed in collaboration with Swiss watchmaker Ollivier Saveo. Design and display:

Both models sport a 6.7-inch OLED display with curved sides, but the Realme 12 Pro goes one step further with a 120Hz refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut and a touch sampling rate of up to 240Hz. These features guarantee an immersive visual experience. Both variants feature a vegan leather back, available in Submariner Blue and Navigator Beige colour options.


While the Realme 12 Pro is powered by Snapdragon 6 Gen 1, the 12 Pro+ surpasses with a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chip, offering even faster and smoother performance. Both models come with 8GB of RAM, ensuring effortless multitasking.

Both models come with Android 14 and Realme UI 5.0, ensuring a fluid and up-to-date user experience. The collaboration with Swiss watchmaker Ollivier Saveo is also evident in elegant colour variants such as Submariner Blue and Navigator Beige.


The Realme 12 Pro offers a classic 2x optical zoom, ideal for portraits, while the 12 Pro+ goes one step further by incorporating a periscope lens for a 3x optical zoom. This feature is a first for Realme and promises to offer unrivalled photographic possibilities, enhanced by high-quality Sony sensors.

The Realme 12 Pro offers an impressive camera setup with a 50 MP main camera, 32 MP 2x telephoto lens, 8 MP ultra wide angle shooter and 16 MP selfie shooter. The inclusion of OIS and a Sony IMX882 sensor ensures images are crisp and clear. The Realme 12 Pro+ shares many features with the 12 Pro, but brings significant improvements with a 64 MP periscope telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom.

Battery and Charging:

Both smartphones retain the 5,000mAh battery, but the Realme 12 Pro shines with 67W SuperVOOC charging, achieving 50% charge in just 19 minutes. A feat that can make all the difference on busy days.

Price and availability:

The Realme 12 Pro is available in two variants, 128GB priced at $310 or €290 and 256GB priced at $325 or €300, with a $24 or €22 pre-order discount. The Realme 12 Pro+ is priced from $360 or €330 to $410 or €375, with a similar pre-order discount.
