ZTE-owned brand Nubia is set to unveil its latest flagship, the Z60 Ultra, with a series of exciting teasers on Weibo. The phone promises to bring innovative features, art-inspired design and enhanced robustness. In this article, we’ll explore the features revealed so far, offering an exclusive preview ahead of the official launch.
The Z60 Ultra comes with an IP68 rating, a first for this series. The figures suggest that the phone can be submerged to a depth of 1.5 metres for 30 minutes without suffering any damage. Nubia even highlighted this feature by asking a snorkeller to capture photos underwater, demonstrating the phone’s reliability in extreme conditions.
The phone boasts an innovative front camera positioned under the screen, using UDC Ultra technology with pixels of just 2.8 um. At the rear, the Z60 Ultra features an impressive trio of cameras, including a 50MP main sensor, an 18mm ultra-wide camera also with 50MP, and a periscope telephoto lens with OIS for exceptional photographic versatility.
The Z60 Ultra is also distinguished by its elegant “Starry Night” design, inspired by Vincent Van Gogh’s masterpiece. This 3D multi-layer finish is similar to that of the Z50 Ultra, offering an artistic aesthetic and a unique visual experience. Customers choosing this option will also benefit from a themed protective case and postcards featuring other works by the famous Dutch painter.
While charging and battery details are still unofficially confirmed, information from the 3C site suggests a fast 80W wired charge, similar to the previous model, the Z50 Ultra.
The crucial question remains whether the Nubia Z60 Ultra will be available globally or remain exclusive to ZTE’s home country of China. Consumers around the world are eagerly awaiting this answer, hoping to enjoy the Z60 Ultra’s exceptional performance and innovative design.
