Apple unveiled its new smart home lineup on October 13, 2026: the Apple HomeView, a 7-inch touchscreen hub at $299, an Apple TV 4K built around the A19 chip, and a $149 HomePod mini 2. Pre-orders are open, but the devices land on October 30 or November 13, and the HomeView will not be sold in the European Union.
Apple HomeView: a $299 screen to run the home
The HomeView packs an A18 chip and a 7-inch Liquid Retina display (1,088 x 1,088 pixels, 220 ppi). Its 12MP Center Stage camera can recognize up to six people by face. For sound, Apple fitted two full-range drivers in the display, a down-firing woofer and two passive radiators in the base, with Spatial Audio support.
The tabletop model weighs 2.1 lb and ships with a 30W power adapter, in silver, starlight, rose pink and space gray. The wall-mounted version also costs $299, weighs 286 grams and comes in silver and space gray. Watch the final bill: it includes no cable or adapter (Apple calls for at least 20W), and the mount is sold separately.

The HomeView goes on sale November 13. It leans on Siri AI, offered as a beta in software 27.2, in English only, in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, India, Singapore and South Africa. Personal requests need an iPhone or iPad with Apple Intelligence. Because Siri AI is not available on iOS in the EU, the HomeView will not be sold there.
Apple TV 4K: A19 chip, 128GB and a higher price
The fourth generation moves to the A19 chip, which Apple says is up to 50% faster on the CPU and up to twice as fast on the GPU than the previous model. It adds an AV1 decoder, three far-field microphones for hands-free “Hey Siri”, a single 128GB storage option, Wi-Fi 7, Gigabit Ethernet and Thread. The USB-C rechargeable Siri Remote is sold separately.
The price climbs to $299, with availability on November 13. According to PopSci, the previous model started at $129 in 2022, rose to $199 in June, and the 128GB Ethernet version went from $149 to $249. Siri AI arrives in beta with tvOS 27.2, including on Apple TV 4K models from the 2nd generation onward.
HomePod mini 2: S10 chip and Sound Glow
The HomePod mini 2 costs $149 and reaches stores on October 30. It gets the S10 chip, Wi-Fi 6E, Thread, Ultra Wideband and a temperature and humidity sensor. The top lights up in colors drawn from album art (Sound Glow). It stands 3.3 inches tall, weighs 335 grams and comes in pink, green, blue, white and midnight.
Two caveats: Siri AI is missing at launch and will come in an update, with recognition of up to six household voices; Spatial Audio and room sensing stay exclusive to the 2nd-generation HomePod. For four-speaker surround with the Apple TV 4K, you need four HomePod mini 2 or 2nd-generation HomePod units, in matching front and rear pairs.
Apple Home Collection: LG and Schneider accessories
Apple also launches an accessory range from $39.95 (LG temperature sensor, Schneider Home room sensor) to $399.95 (LG Floodlight Cam). It arrives in December, with some items in early 2027, and sells mostly in the US and Canada. Camera event history with HomeKit Secure Video requires iCloud+: 50GB covers one camera, 200GB up to five, and 2TB an unlimited number.
What it means for you
The sources we checked give no price or date for France, and the HomeView stays out of Europe as long as Siri AI is absent there. The HomePod mini 2 is announced in more than 23 other countries and regions besides the US, without a full list here. The trend is clear: Apple is making Siri AI the backbone of its smart home, on a schedule that stretches into 2027.
