SteelSeries GG is the companion software for the Danish brand’s gaming peripherals. It brings hardware settings and a handful of gaming tools together in one app. It is free and available for Windows and macOS.

What SteelSeries GG is for

The Engine module configures the brand’s mice, keyboards, headsets and mousepads: lighting, macros, sensitivity, audio profiles and firmware updates. Sonar is an audio mixer that splits game and chat audio, adds an equaliser and cuts microphone noise. Moments records your best plays so you can trim and share them. 3D Aim Trainer offers hundreds of exercises to sharpen your aim. Basic device features work without an account, but Sonar, Moments and the aim trainer need a SteelSeries account.

Who is it for?

SteelSeries GG is mainly for people who own SteelSeries gear, since it is how you unlock all the settings, and some features are reserved for device owners. Sonar and Moments can still be handy for other PC gamers. On Windows you need Windows 10 or later.

Download SteelSeries GG safely

Download SteelSeries GG from steelseries.com, in its Windows or macOS version. Sonar only runs on Windows 10 or newer. Skip driver packages from third-party sites: the official app updates your devices’ firmware itself.
