On Geekbench 5, a platform that tests the execution speed of devices, the Redmi Note 11 Pro scored 2221 on the multicore test while the Realme 9 Pro+ scored 2335 on the same test. So it is more powerful, but the gap is not huge.

The Redmi Note 11 Pro has a 6.67-inch Super AMOLED display while the Realme 9 Pro+ has a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display. With a resolution of 411PPP, the Realme’s screen is sharper than the Note 11 Pro’s which is at 395PPP.


But in the end, Xiaomi’s phone has the largest, smoothest (120Hz refresh rate vs. 90Hz for the Realme) and brightest screen. So it wins this round.

For your selfies, you’ll be able to rely on the 16Mpx front camera of both phones.


If you want the phone that takes the best photos, the Redmi Note 11 Pro’s massive 108Mpx sensor will do a better job. Although the photos taken by the Realme 9 Pro+ are of excellent quality for a £350 phone.

The Redmi Note 11 Pro is powered by a 5000mAh battery that can go from 0 to 100% in just 42 minutes (according to Xiaomi) using its 67W wired fast charge. The Realme 9 Pro+ offers a little less with its 4500mAh battery equipped with a 60W wired fast charge that allows the phone to go from 0 to 100% in 44 minutes (according to Realme).

Both phones can run for a whole day of ordinary use like going on social networks, following music, watching some videos etc.

The Redmi Note 11 Pro is a bigger and better built phone than the Realme 9 Pro+. It even offers better water and dust protection than its competitor. On top of that, it has a better screen, better cameras and a bigger battery. It’s definitely the better of the two.
