Xiaomi Redmi K70E – Renderings, Features and More

The Redmi K70E is one of this year’s most anticipated phones, and thanks to the digital chat station on Weibo, we’ve been able to get a glimpse of its practical features. Thanks to leaked renders, we now have a look at the base model of the Xiaomi Redmi K70. The images reveal an elegant design for these glasses, which immediately captivate the eye.

Elegant Design and Design Evolution

The Xiaomi Redmi K70 features a refined design, with one notable change from its predecessor, the K60. The rectangular camera island of the K60 has been replaced by an island running the full width of the phone, housing four elements forming a square, comprising three cameras and an LED flash. The island protrudes elegantly from the back, giving the Redmi K70 an aesthetic reminiscent of the Poco F5 Pro.

K70E hands-on images – a closer look

Thanks to the digital chat station on Weibo, we now have hands-on images of the K70E that reveal a screen with impressive features. The Redmi K70E’s screen features ‘1.5K’ resolution, offering exceptional visual clarity. Users can take advantage of 1920Hz PWM dimming, ensuring a smooth, flicker-free viewing experience. In addition, the maximum brightness of 1,800 nits will deliver vivid images even in bright sunlight.

The K70E’s 12-bit colour depth will reproduce realistic and vibrant colours, delivering an immersive visual experience. What’s more, the phone will feature an integrated fingerprint sensor for added security and convenient unlocking.

Powerful and exceptional battery life

In terms of performance, the Redmi K70E will be powered by the powerful MediaTek Dimensity 8300 SoC, ensuring optimum speed and efficiency. Rumours suggest that the phone will feature a 6.67-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering exceptional fluidity when browsing and gaming.

Up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage will allow users to store and access a large number of files, apps and games effortlessly. The Redmi K70E guarantees a smooth user experience without any slowdowns.

The Redmi K70’s battery life is ensured by a robust 5,500mAh battery, while support for 90W fast wired charging promises a quick charge despite the generous size of the battery. Surprisingly, the phone retains a thickness of just 8.05mm, demonstrating Xiaomi’s commitment to compactness without compromising on power.

Technical specifications confirmed

The brand has confirmed that the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 SoC will power the Redmi K70E. According to persistent rumours, the screen will reach 6.67″ with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. RAM will be LPDDR5X up to 16GB, while UFS 4.0 storage will be able to reach a remarkable 1TB.
