Xiaomi is gearing up for an ambitious launch of new products, with the company’s president Lu Weibing confirming that the company is planning a number of devices powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. Among these devices, the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro stands out, benefiting from the flagship 2022 chipset.

Replacing the Snapdragon 870 with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2

Lu Weibing shared Xiaomi’s vision to replace the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset with the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. This strategic move aims to deliver industry-leading performance, paving the way for a new era of power and efficiency.

Digital Chat Station revealed that Xiaomi has a number of devices in the starting blocks, including the much-anticipated Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro. This flagship tablet is designed to impress with the flagship 2022 chipset, promising an exceptional user experience.

Phone lovers will be delighted to know that the Redmi K70 series of smartphones, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, will make their debut on 29 November in China. In addition, the vanilla Redmi K70 model will be launched as the Poco F6 Pro in the Indian and international markets, extending the reach of this powerful series.
