The tech world is eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, the next flagship from the Chinese brand. Thanks to revelations from Fixed Focus Digital and leaks from reliable Chinese sources, we now have an insight into the launch schedule and some key features of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. In this article, let’s dive into the details of the expected launch date, powerful battery, and impressive configuration of this future flagship smartphone.
According to information leaked by tipster Fixed Focus Digital, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will make its long-awaited debut in March 2024 in China. That’s not all, as the first quarter of the coming year looks set to be a busy one with the planned announcements of the Huawei P70 series and the Vivo X100 Ultra. However, Fixed Focus Digital suggests that the smartphone industry could experience a slowdown after mid-December, with few announcements to be expected for some time.
An exclusive leak from Chinese publication CNMO reveals that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will feature a powerful 5,500mAh battery, marking a marked improvement over its predecessor, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. The upgrade aims to offer extended camera sessions, demonstrating Xiaomi’s commitment to a sustainable user experience.
In addition to the battery, rumours indicate that Xiaomi is considering upgrading the Xiaomi 13 Ultra’s four-camera setup. It’s possible that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will sport a titanium body, similar to the special edition Xiaomi 14 Pro. The HyperOS operating system could also be a major inclusion, although its extension to global models is yet to be confirmed. Early specs include Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, Leica optics, OLED display, and ultrafast charging support.
