Xiaomi 13T: Unboxing video reveals key smartphone specs ahead of launch

The global launch of the new Xiaomi 13T and Xiaomi 13T Pro smartphones is scheduled for next month, but leaks and speculation have been circulating on the Internet for some time now. An unboxing video of the Xiaomi 13T, published by Spanish YouTuber Eufracio Lopez 502, gives us a tantalizing glimpse of the features and design of this upcoming phone. Let’s discover the interesting details revealed by this video.

Xiaomi 13T specifications according to unboxing video:

According to the information shared in the video, the Xiaomi 13T will feature a similar design to the Redmi K60 Ultra, with a glass back, plastic frame and square camera bump at the rear. At the front, the 6.67-inch OLED display will offer an ultra-fast refresh rate of 144 Hz. The phone will probably be available in black and green.

As for camera performance, the video confirms a 50 MP main configuration, accompanied by an 8 MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2 MP macro lens. However, more recent leaks also suggest the possibility of a 50 MP Leica 2x telephoto lens and a 12 MP Leica ultra wide-angle lens.

Under the hood, the Xiaomi 13T will be powered by the powerful MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultra SoC, offering up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. A massive 5,000 mAh battery will be present, benefiting from 67 W fast charging via a USB Type-C port. What’s more, the phone should also boast IP68 certification, giving it resistance to water and dust.
