The Redmi K60 Ultra will arrive internationally as the Xiaomi 13T Pro with different cameras

Xiaomi recently held a successful launch event in China. At the event, the company unveiled a number of exciting products, including the much-anticipated Redmi K60 Ultra smartphone. In addition to this, Xiaomi also presented other products such as the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 and the Xiaomi Pad 6 Max .

Xiaomi 13T Pro a rebadged version of the Redmi K60 Ultra

There was a surprising announcement at the event. Xiaomi confirmed that the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 smartphone will not be launched globally, which will likely disappoint many fans of the brand around the world. However, there is still some good news for Xiaomi fans abroad.

According to an earlier report, Xiaomi is planning to launch the Redmi K60 Ultra smartphone in international markets under the name Xiaomi 13T Pro. This news has caused quite a stir among smartphone enthusiasts and many are eagerly awaiting its launch.

Expected specifications for the Xiaomi 13T Pro

Specs have also been leaked for the Xiaomi 13T Pro. According to tipster Kacper Skrzypek, the smartphone will be the global version of the Redmi K60 Ultra. He also revealed that the 13T Pro will feature a powerful 50MP Sony IMX 707 main sensor at the rear. This sensor will be paired with a 50MP OmniVision OV50D telephoto lens and a 13MP Omnivision OV13B ultra-wide angle lens.

However, it’s worth noting that the Redmi K60 Ultra’s main sensor is a 50MP Sony IMX 800 with OIS. For international markets, Xiaomi has decided to downgrade the main sensor slightly to accommodate a larger telephoto and ultra-wide angle lens.

As for the selfie camera, the Xiaomi 13T Pro will be equipped with a 20MP Sony IMX 596 sensor, offering high-quality selfies.

It’s also worth mentioning that Xiaomi is not planning to launch this smartphone in India under its flagship Xiaomi brand, nor under the Redmi or Poco brands. It remains to be seen if the company plans to launch a different version, such as the Xiaomi 13T, in the Indian market.

Xiaomi fans waiting for this new smartphone can also rejoice at the confirmation of a 144Hz CrystalRes AMOLED display thanks to an accidental leak from Amazon UK.

In conclusion, Xiaomi continues to impress with its new products and has generated a lot of excitement with the launch of the Redmi K60 Ultra smartphone, which will be available as the Xiaomi 13T Pro in international markets. With its impressive features and stylish design, the Xiaomi 13T Pro promises to be a popular choice among smartphone enthusiasts around the world.
