The highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S24, S24+ and S24 Ultra will make their debut on 17 January 2024. Thanks to leaked CAD-based renders, we already have a glimpse of the design. What’s more, new official-looking images confirm this information. However, that’s not all, as these new models will also bring remarkable improvements thanks to the introduction of artificial intelligence (AI) into their operation.
AI will be one of the main features of the Samsung Galaxy S24s for 2024. This technology will be used to translate real-time messaging applications into more than a dozen languages, providing a fluid and multicultural communication experience. In addition, this integration will enhance photo editing using generative AI techniques. Users will also be able to benefit from advanced search capabilities, including the ability to highlight elements in an image to obtain additional information.
The new Galaxy S24 series models will have vapour chambers 1.5x to 1.9x larger than their predecessors. This improvement will allow for better heat dissipation, increasing the overall performance of the phone. What’s more, users will be able to enjoy sustained performance and a user experience that doesn’t slow down.
The Galaxy S24’s design offers an elegant continuation of its predecessor, the S23 Ultra. However, a major change that won’t go unnoticed is the introduction of a flat screen, marking a break with the trend towards curved screens. This change brings a refined aesthetic to the phone while preserving the immersive visual experience so beloved of Samsung.
According to the latest leaks, the Samsung Galaxy S24, S24+ and S24 Ultra will be available in black, grey, purple and yellow. However, these colours will have different marketing names. For example, the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ will be offered in Onyx Black, Marble Grey, Cobalt Violet and Amber Yellow. On the other hand, the S24 Ultra will be available in Titanium Black, Titanium Grey, Titanium Violet and Titanium Yellow, with a titanium frame for a high-end look. The Vanilla and Plus models will have a reinforced aluminium frame.
In a few months’ time, users will be able to enjoy the same screen size on the S24 Ultra as on the S23 Ultra. A major upgrade lies in the impressive refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, guaranteeing exceptional fluidity in all interactions. This, combined with the flat screen, promises an exceptional visual experience.
The Galaxy S24 promises to be a computing powerhouse with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, ensuring exceptional performance in everything from intensive multitasking to triple-A gaming. To prevent overheating, Samsung has incorporated an improved cooling system, with a vapour chamber 1.9 times larger than its predecessor. This ensures optimum performance even under intensive use, making the S24 an ideal choice for demanding gaming enthusiasts and professionals.
The Galaxy S24’s camera system is a true masterpiece, with five rear cameras capturing every detail. What’s new is the 50 MP telephoto lens, enabling up to 5x optical zoom. This breakthrough opens up new possibilities for mobile photography, offering exceptional sharpness even when zoomed in at extreme levels.
