OPPO is getting ready to launch its latest A-series smartphone, the A98 5G. While no official information has been revealed by OPPO, leaked posters and certifications suggest that the launch of the A98 5G is imminent. MySmartPrice, a reputable leak site, has leaked poster images of the new smartphone, confirming the specifications that were previously circulating.
The OPPO A98 5G features a large 6.72-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with 120Hz refresh rate, 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution, 360Hz touch sampling rate, HDR10+ and 600 nits+ brightness. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G SoC, which is coupled with the Adreno GPU for fast and smooth performance.
The handset also features 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, with 8GB of virtual RAM. The phone runs on Android 13 OS with ColorOS 13 out of the box. Connectivity options on the handset include 5G SA/NSA, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, USB Type-C and NFC.
The A98 5G contains a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast wire charging support. The handset also comes with reverse charging support. The phone has a three-camera setup on the back, with 64MP, quad pixel, EIS, 2MP depth sensor and 2MP micro lens with up to 40x zoom. There’s also a 32MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
While OPPO has yet to announce a launch date or price for the A98 5G, the leaked specs suggest that this is a mid-range premium smartphone. Stay tuned for more updates regarding the OPPO A98 5G launch and specifications.
