Lenovo owner Motorola has unveiled two new smartwatches, the Moto Watch 70 and Moto Watch 200, at the unveiling of three new smartphones Moto Edge+ 2023, Moto G 5G 2023 and Moto G Stylus 2023. The Moto Watch 70 is a connected watch designed for beginners, easy to use, with a 1.69-inch IPS LCD screen. On the other hand, the Moto Watch 200 is a high-end smartwatch with an AMOLED display, built-in GPS, and much more. Let’s take a closer look at the features of these two new smartwatches from Motorola.
The Moto Watch 70 has a stylish metal and glass body with visible bezels. Its metal case with a fashionable design and durable silicone band can be changed to suit different occasions. The smartwatch is IP67 rated, which means it can be immersed to a depth of 1 meter and for 30 minutes.
The smartwatch has a 1.69-inch LCD screen with a crystal clear display. The Watch 70 device has a 355 mAh battery, the company claims that it can be charged from 0% to 100% in just 25 minutes. The watch offers interesting features such as an accelerometer, heart rate monitor and temperature sensor.
Watch dials: The Moto Watch 70 offers users over 100 watch face options, allowing for customization according to their preferences. The watch measures 36.5 x 48.5 x 11 mm and weighs 48 grams.
The Watch 200 offers a sleek appearance, with a 1.78-inch AMOLED display housed in a 45mm aluminum case. The watch has a 5 ATM rating, making it waterproof and safe to use while swimming or showering without the risk of water damage. It also has the ability to monitor more than 28 sports and includes a built-in GPS.
The Moto Watch 200 has a 355 mAh battery that can provide up to 14 days of battery life with typical use. The company claims that the watch can be recharged from 0% to 100% in 60 minutes.
The Moto Watch 200 is also equipped with features such as a heart rate monitor, SpO2 meter (blood oxygen monitoring) and accelerometer. The watch measures 38 x 46.5 x 12.3 mm and weighs 45 grams.
The price and availability of the two newly launched smartwatches have not yet been announced. However, the Moto Watch 70 will be available in Phantom Black and the Moto Watch 200 in Warm Gold and Phantom Black. With these new smartwatches, Motorola proves that it is still a serious contender in the connected watch market.
