Honor Magic V2: The top-of-the-range foldable smartphone that combines design, lightness and durability.

The Honor Magic V2 is a foldable smartphone that stands out for its high-end design, thinness and lightness. With a large rectangular camera module and an impressive thickness of just 4.7 mm when open, it offers an exceptional visual and ergonomic experience. What’s more, its Honor Luban titanium hinge technology ensures uncompromising durability. In this article, we’ll explore the features and specifications of the Honor Magic V2 that make it an attractive choice for users looking for a quality foldable smartphone experience.

High-end design and remarkable thinness

The Honor Magic V2 features a sleek design with a large rectangular camera module, reminiscent of the Magic Vs. When folded, it measures just 9.9mm thick, but when opened, its thickness rises to an impressive 4.7mm.

This thinness puts it ahead of the Huawei Mate 50RS, a traditional bar phone. What’s more, the Magic V2 is also lightweight, weighing in at just 231g for the regular leather version and 237g for the glass version. Both of these weight options even come in below Apple’s iPhone 14 Pro Max, which weighs in at 240g.

Honor has also ensured the durability of the device by incorporating the Honor Luban titanium hinge, certified by Swiss SGS for high bending reliability. This hinge can withstand 400,000 folds without any problems and offers a multi-angle hover function, providing versatility of use.

An exceptional visual experience

The Honor Magic V2 offers an immersive visual experience thanks to its 6.43-inch OLED exterior display with a resolution of 2376 × 1060 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. This panel supports an LTPO refresh rate of 120 Hz and high-frequency PWM dimming of 3840 Hz, ensuring smooth transitions and sharp images.

With a maximum brightness of 2500 nits and flicker-free TÜV Rheinland certification, the screen offers exceptional visual quality, whether indoors or outdoors. Inside, the Honor Magic V2 features a 7.92-inch BOE OLED display and offers a 9.8:9 aspect ratio with the same refresh rate and dimming frequency specifications.

Advanced hardware performance

The Honor Magic V2 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, delivering smooth and responsive performance. Paired with LPDDR5X RAM options of up to 16GB and UFS 4.0 storage of up to 512GB, it offers a smooth multitasking experience and generous storage space for files and apps.

Moving on to the photography department, the Honor Magic V2 boasts multiple cameras, including a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultra wide-angle and a 20MP telephoto lens that goes up to 40x. For selfies, there’s a 16MP camera on the outer screen and another 16MP shooter on the inside.

As for the battery, the Honor Magic V2 is equipped with a large 5,000mAh battery with support for a 66W charge.

The Honor Magic V2 stands out for its high-end design, remarkable thinness and exceptional durability thanks to the Honor Luban titanium hinge. Its exterior and interior screen offer an immersive and fluid visual experience. With advanced hardware performance and large storage capacity, the Magic V2 will meet the needs of demanding users. If you’re looking for a foldable smartphone that combines design, light weight and performance, the Honor Magic V2 is a choice to seriously consider.
