Faced with the Galaxy A25, will the Galaxy A35 offer a more optimal mobile experience?

Choosing between the Galaxy A25 and Galaxy A35 could prove difficult for consumers looking for a feature phone. According to the Galaxy A35 leaks, these two models should offer similar features while having notable differences. This article compares and analyzes the key aspects of these two smartphones in order to guide the user in their choice in the future.

Galaxy A35: Certified robustness, assured durability

Although, according to rumors about the Galaxy A35, their dimensions are almost similar, the Galaxy A25 remains more compact. Both Samsungs are equipped with glass fronts, while the manufacturer opted to design their backs and frames in plastic. Unlike the Galaxy A25, the Galaxy A35 is expected to be IP67 certified, which would make it dust and water resistant up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. This will reassure you about its durability compared to the Galaxy A25. Which would make it an attractive choice for users looking for a tough and durable phone.

Galaxy A35: A visual experience superior to the Galaxy A25

We should find the Galaxy A25’s super AMOLED screen on the Galaxy A35 which will also refresh at a frequency of 120 Hz for similar fluidity. But it seems that the Galaxy A35 would come with a slightly larger 6.6-inch display compared to the 6.5-inch display on the Galaxy A25. Additionally, the Galaxy A35 could offer a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, slightly higher than that of the Galaxy A25 whose screen resolution is 1080 x 2340 pixels, which should ensure sharper details and more vibrant colors.

The Galaxy A35 would then be a more satisfactory option for viewing multimedia content, web browsing and gaming.

From Galaxy A25 to Galaxy A35: expanded memory, increased performance

Just like the Galaxy A25, the Galaxy A35 is expected to retain Samsung’s UI 6 with Android 14. According to rumors, the Galaxy A35 will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chip, which according to tests on Nanoreview, offers better performance by compared to the Exynos 1280 chip in the Galaxy A25. The Galaxy A35 should therefore be particularly more efficient on battery consumption, faster and smoother, better suited to daily tasks, multitasking and demanding games.

While the Galaxy A25 offers different memory options, going up to 256GB of storage with 8GB of RAM, the Galaxy A35 is expected to offer the same internal storage capacities, while increasing the maximum RAM to 12GB. This should allow users to run multiple applications simultaneously without compromising performance, with greater fluidity and responsiveness.

The Galaxy A35 would also retain the microSDXC card slot, and thus keep the ability to easily expand the storage according to the user’s needs, while offering a higher maximum internal memory compared to the Galaxy A25.

Similar photos and videos

When it comes to photography and video, it is highly likely that both Galaxy share similar features. Firstly like the A25, the Galaxy A35 should be able to record videos in 1080p at 30/60 fps and will then have the same flexibility to capture smooth videos at different frame rates, to capture fast movements or to achieve a smoother slow motion effect.

Likewise, the main camera of the Galaxy A35 will certainly be similar to that of the Galaxy A25: a triple camera with a 50 MP sensor for wide-angle shots, an 8 MP sensor for ultra-wide shots, and a 2 MP sensor for macro mode shots. Additionally, the phone will carry the same 13 MP front camera with an f/2.2 aperture for sharp and bright selfies.

Extended autonomy thanks to the Dimensity 1080

It is highly likely that the Galaxy A35 will be powered by a non-removable 5,000 mAh battery, with support for 25W wired charging like the Galaxy A25. But thanks to its Dimensity 1080 chip, which is more efficient in energy consumption than the Exynos 1280 in the Galaxy A25, the Galaxy A35 will surely have better battery life.

Price and availability

The Samsung Galaxy A25 is an entry-level phone. It is offered at an affordable price of $247.45 / €265.00. The Galaxy A35 is also classified in the entry-level category. Although its price and availability have not yet been confirmed, it is likely that it is not far from that of its predecessor the A34, $245.00 / €243.00, but more expensive than the Galaxy A25

Verdict

While the Samsung Galaxy A35 is yet to be officially announced, there is a lot of interest in rumors surrounding its specifications and features. It should stand out as a more attractive choice for users looking for a durable phone, offering an immersive visual experience, superior performance and increased battery life. However, the Galaxy A25 remains a solid option for those looking for a more compact and affordable phone.

Just like the Galaxy A25, the Galaxy A35 should definitely offer great value for money for users around the world. They will then have to decide according to their priorities and their specific needs.
