Xiaomi will launch the Redmi K100 in China on October 27, 2026. The brand has already shown most of the essentials: a 6.83-inch display refreshing at 165 Hz, a Snapdragon 8 Elite and audio tuned by Bose. The battery, cameras and price, however, are still unconfirmed.
Redmi K100: a display built for gaming

The 6.83-inch panel reaches 165 Hz and 3,500 nits of peak brightness. Xiaomi puts the emphasis on touch response: 480 Hz multi-finger touch reporting and 3,500 Hz instantaneous touch sampling. More than 40 games are said to run natively at 165 frames per second, according to Gizmochina.
The phone also carries a dedicated chip called D2. Sources disagree on its role: Gizmochina calls it a display chip, Notebookcheck a gaming chip. Either way, it sits alongside the main processor. Green Mountain 4.0 eye protection rounds out the screen.
Snapdragon 8 Elite and HyperOS 4

On the processor side, the K100 uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite, a 3 nm chip introduced in 2024. That is not Qualcomm’s latest generation, a choice in line with the K series, which aims at strong performance for the price. The phone will run HyperOS 4, Xiaomi’s in-house software layer.
Design and Bose sound
Official images show a green colorway (called “Flame Green” or “Firefly Green” depending on the translation) and a larger rectangular camera block that seems to hold two sensors. “Sound by Bose” branding appears on it, a sign of joint work on audio.
What is not confirmed
- Battery: leaks point to 10,000 mAh, but Xiaomi has confirmed nothing. Fast charging is not detailed either.
- Cameras: the sensors have not been revealed.
- Price: unknown so far.
- Availability: no international launch is announced. The phone could still reach other markets under the Poco brand, as often happens.
What it means for you

If you follow affordable gaming phones, the Redmi K100 is one to watch, but in Europe you will probably have to wait for a Poco version or import it. Keep in mind that the full spec sheet arrives on October 27. We will update this article then.
