Brave is a browser made by Brave Software, the company co-founded by Brendan Eich, the creator of JavaScript. It is built on Chromium, the same engine as Chrome, and blocks intrusive ads and trackers by default.

Browsing as you would with Chrome, with the same extensions and imported bookmarks, but with less tracking and pages that often display faster. The shield can be adjusted site by site when a page does not display properly.
Who is it for?
People who want more privacy without installing a separate blocker. The cryptocurrency features are optional and can be hidden in the settings.
