Today, a generally very reliable source has come out with a leaked set of specs for the OnePlus Nord 3 phone, whereas a few weeks ago a different list of specs were relayed. Obviously, we can’t tell you which source is more accurate, so with that in mind, take this information with a grain of salt.
The new source now says that the OnePlus Nord 3 packs a 6.72-inch AMOLED FHD+ display that refreshes at 120Hz, a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC at the helm and a 5,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging. RAM will be 8/16GB, while storage will be 128/256GB.
Moving on to optics, the phone will have a three-camera setup, with a 50MP main shooter, an 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP macro camera. Selfies will be supported by a 16 MP camera. The Nord 3 will have an alert slider.
That said, the previous leak had the same rear camera specs (with an additional mention of OIS for the main one), and a halfway similar “4,500mAh or 5,000mAh” battery capacity estimate, but otherwise veered in a different direction. It spoke of a smaller 6.5-inch screen, a 32MP selfie camera, 100W charging support and the Dimensity 8100 Max or Dimensity 8200 SoC powering the device.
While we wait for OnePlus to make the Nord 3 official soon, we’re now hoping to get a good feel for the Nord 2’s successor features. We’ll also be curious to see how the Nord 2 and Nord 3 compare.
