The Whatsapp messaging application is by far the most used messaging application in the world today with more than one billion users. It offers a set of features that are not always used or known by users. One of the most important hidden features of Whatsapp is the notification personalization feature, so that we can personalize each notification according to the Whatsapp group or our whatsapp contact.
This feature allows us to customize the ringtone of messages, calls according to your contacts or Whatsapp group. For example, you can set a ringtone for your father, one for your girlfriend, one when your Boss calls you or sends you a message. You can also customize the vibrator for each case, as well as the indicator light that is often displayed on your phone when it is locked, so that it changes color when you receive a message from a group or special person that you have configured beforehand.
To be able to take advantage of the feature it’s very simple, just open Whatsapp, go to the conversation of the contact or group you want to set up to assign this privilege, click on the top next to the icon of the group or contact to display the information of the latter. Scroll down and you will see an option
Click on it and you will be able to perform the options mentioned above (set custom ringtone and others). Once you have done this, everything is finished, you can now receive your messages and calls according to your preferences.
