After the GT Neo 5 that Realme introduced with the flagship Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and the world’s fastest charging for a smartphone, there are already rumors before the end of the month about a new phone in the series.
Reports from China suggest that Realme is now working on a phone that will probably be called GT Neo 5 SE or GT Neo 5 Lite. Obviously like all the SE and Lite versions, this one should be no different and offer lighter features of the GT Neo 5 phone.

Some features of the Realme GT Neo 5 Lite
According to a credible digital news station, the Neo 5 Lite should embark the Qualcomm SM7475 SoC ( This processor has not been announced yet), this chip would be in fact a Snapdragon 7 Gen 2. As for the photographic part, the device is presumed to sport a 64MP shooter with an Omnivision OV64M sensor against 50MP with Sony IMX890 sensor and RGB notification light on the back of the Neo 5. Just like the SM7475 the 64Mp sensor has not been announced yet.
From the design point of view, the camera island will also get rid of the transparent window, showing the Snapdragon chipset and make room for the basic configuration. As you know, fast charging is the biggest selling point of this series, but unlike what the GT Neo 5 offers, on the Lite variant it will drop a bit.
The charge is the biggest selling point of the Realme GT Neo 5 duo (there is one with 240W and another with 150W ). The next version would have a 5,500 mAh battery with “only” 100W charging, which may be slow in the context of GT Neo 5 phones but is still among the fastest standards on the market.
We can’t wait to see how the Realme GT Neo 5 Lite will compare to other Lite and SE phones of the moment.
