The Honor X50 and Honor X50i smartphones are entering the market, offering consumers a range of exciting features. The Honor X50 is equipped with the powerful Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, a 108MP main camera and a large 5,800mAh battery with a 33W charge. The Honor X50i, meanwhile, features a 90Hz LCD screen, a Dimensity 6020 chipset and a 100MP main camera. Let’s find out more about the features and benefits of each.

Honor X50 features and price

The Honor X50 sports a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,200 x 2,652 pixels and a fast 120Hz refresh rate for a smooth viewing experience. An 8MP front camera is housed in a small punch hole centred at the top of the screen.


At the back, the phone features a 108 MP main camera with an f/1.75 aperture, complemented by a 2 MP depth module. The powerful Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset powers the smartphone, supported by up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The generous 5,800mAh battery supports 33W of fast charging. The Honor X50 is also waterproof and dustproof, with IP53 certification.

Available in black, blue, orange and gradient, pricing for the Honor X50 starts at CNY1,399 ($) for the 8/128GB version and rises to CNY1,999 ($) for the 16/512GB model, with sales opening in China from 14 July.

Honor X50i specifications and price

The Honor X50i features a 6.7-inch flat LTPS LCD display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,388 pixels and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6020 chipset with 8GB or 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage space.

The device is equipped with a 100MP main camera with an f/1.9 aperture, accompanied by a 2MP depth lens. It runs MagicOS 7.1 based on Android 13 and has a 4,500mAh battery that supports a 33W charge.


The Honor X50i is available in black, blue, pink and gradient. Pricing starts at CNY1,379 ($) for the 8/256GB version and rises to CNY1,679 ($) for the 12/256GB version.

Performance comparison: Honor X50 vs Honor X50i

The Honor X50 is equipped with a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, which is more powerful than the MediaTek Dimensity 6020 chipset in the Honor X50i. The Honor X50 also has a larger 5,800mAh battery, while the Honor X50i has a 4,500mAh battery.
