Garmin, the famous wearables manufacturer, is preparing the launch of its latest smartwatches in the Venu 3 series. According to rumours, these innovative devices are due to be unveiled next month at the forthcoming IFA trade fair in Berlin. Recently, leaked renders revealed key details about the design and functionality of the upcoming models, the Venu 3 and Venu 3S. As successors to the Venu 2 and Venu 2S, these smartwatches promise to offer significant improvements.

Design and features:

The leaked renders show that the Garmin Venu 3 and Venu 3S will feature a circular dial and three physical buttons on the right side. The left side appears to house a speaker grill, while the bottom surface features a pogo pin for charging. These watches will be waterproof to 5 metres, offering exceptional water resistance.

The two models will be available in different dial and strap sizes. The Venu 3 will have a 45mm dial size with 21mm watch straps, while the Venu 3S will be offered as an option with a 41mm dial and 18mm watch straps. The renderings also reveal a bezel surrounding the screen, offering an elegant aesthetic.

The Venu 3 will be offered in a slate colour with a black strap, as well as a passivated option with a white strap. The Venu 3S will be available in Soft Gold (ivory and French Grey straps), French Gold (Pink Dawn strap), Slate (Pebble Grey) and Passivated (Sage Grey). These diverse colour choices will enable users to personalise their watch according to their style and preferences.

Advanced features:

According to renderings, the Garmin Venu 3 series will feature a heart rate sensor and a body battery monitor. In addition, these watches will feature an innovative sleep coach, taking naps into account to adjust the overall sleep requirement for the day. An additional feature, according to rumours, will be a skin temperature sensor that detects the first signs of fever. However, it’s important to note that this feature would only work while the user is asleep.

With the Garmin Venu 3 and Venu 3S, Garmin continues to innovate in the field of smartwatches. Their elegant design combined with advanced features such as heart rate tracking, body battery monitor and sleep coach promise to deliver an exceptional user experience. We’ll have to wait for their official launch at the forthcoming IFA in Berlin to discover all the features of these revolutionary smartwatches.
