According to information leaked by the website 9to5Mac, Apple is preparing to present the iPhone 15 series of smartphones in the third week of September. Employees at various mobile operators have reportedly been instructed not to take September 13 off, suggesting that a major smartphone launch event will take place on that date.

This information comes after reports announced the cancellation of the iPhone SE series due to declining sales. However, one tipster has revealed the design of the next iPhone SE 4, the fourth generation of the model, which will be based on the iPhone 14 chassis. This confirmation follows statements by analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who had previously raised this possibility.

According to tipster “Unknownz21”, the iPhone SE 4 will feature a 6.1-inch OLED display supplied by BOE. In addition, Apple will abandon Touch ID in favor of Face ID technology. Also new, the device will feature a USB Type-C port, offering more versatile connectivity.

Will iPhone SE 4 be released at the same time as iPhone 15?

Although identifiers corresponding to the iPhone 15 have been spotted in tvOS 17 beta codes, it seems unlikely that Apple will launch the iPhone SE 4 at the same time as the iPhone 15 series smartphones.

Apple fans are eager to discover the details and features of the new iPhone 15 series smartphones at the launch event scheduled for September. Stay tuned for the latest updates on Apple’s most anticipated products of the year.
